Tampin is a small town established in 1832. The name of Tampin is gets from the container or pouch weaved from the pandanus fronds. The container was used to store condiments such as the kelamai or dodol and the shrimp paste belacan. For more information, please visit wiki.
There are 2 things attract me to this small town......
The Longkang Mee (Drain noodle) and the border of N. Sembilan and Melaka (Malacca).
The history of this noodle is about more than 80 years ago and it's name Long Kang mee because the stall was setup beside the drain when the owner started the business. But today they beautify it with "Long Jiang Mian" and forget about the word 'drain'.
